What is dreaming you? What seed of you is waiting to grow? What knowledge is psyche presenting that wants to be re-remembered? What is the land asking of us now? What psychic activism is needed to be with the World’s wounds? Dream Tending is a relational approach to being with dream, with the assumption that through dream, psyche is revealing to us that which is ready for integration into our life path. It is a way to deepen into relationship with the inner wisdom embedded in all of us, to learn to follow our soul's passion, to create personal ritual through hints left in the dream, to listen to the landscapes that surround us, and to build resilience in being with the troubles of our times. It is not analysis of dream into the waking world but rather a building of relationship with the unseen realms. Psyche so much wants to co-create with us! This is an approach, made stronger through group witnessing and engagement, that supports us leaning into our co-creative abilities.
Join us for an eight week group as we journey together, being curious and playing with dream.
Meet Jamie Mayo
Jamie Mayo, PhD, PMHNP
Jamie has spent her career asking how the brain heals — first as a research scientist, now as a nurse practitioner sitting across from the people doing that healing.
Her path began in the lab: a PhD in Biology, post-doctoral research at the University of Melbourne and the University of Utah studying resilience after traumatic brain injury. After earning her MSN in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing at Vanderbilt, she brought that same rigor into clinical care — now specializing in trauma, chronic pain, somatic issues, and addiction across the lifespan.
Jamie is EMDR trained, with an advanced certificate in Integrative Psychotherapy for Trauma, and additional training in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy through the California Institute of Integral Studies and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy through Polaris Insight Center. She currently offers medication management, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, CBT for insomnia, dream work with nightmares, and EMDR therapy.
